Guided Tours

We offer regular guided tours every Friday and Saturday at 11am and 2pm.

​

If you are coming as an individual or are in a group of 6 people or less, you do not need to book and can just show up on the day!

​

Prices are £5 each or £4 for concession. 

​

The tour will last approximately 1 hour and a half.

 

Please be aware that unfortunately we can not give tours on the 2nd Saturday of each month, due to the Farmers Market. 

Group Tours

If you belong to an organisation or walking club, or are just a group of like-minded souls, you can book a group tour at any time subject to availability. 

​

We recommend spring and summer evenings, when the churchyard is a picture, however we welcome groups whatever the weather or time of the year!

Group tours have a concession rate of £4 per person.

​

The tour consist of the Saracen's Head/Tudor Merchant's House, and the Old Grammar School. 

​

After the tour has finished, you may be interested in viewing the Special Tours menu at The Tudor Tea Room. 

By arrangement, catering can be set up for you in one of the Tudor style room for a lovely afternoon tea or for some hot food. 

Church Tours

St Nicolas' is a popular and busy church that has many services and community activities going on all week.

Tours for the church will have to be booked. 

​
